And at the same time raising funds and awareness for our partner charity, Flying Fox,&#8221; Mr McCaig said.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_103836\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-103836\" style=\"width: 600px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\" wp-image-103836\" src=\"https:\/\/static.timesnewsgroup.com.au\/prod\/uploads\/sites\/29\/2024\/10\/thumbnail_24Sep24_Ra_77369.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"600\" height=\"900\" \/><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-103836\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Dishes start at $8 and include shellfish barbecue with split bay lobster, scallop in the shell or Ballina king prawn, whole local pink snapper barbecue with applewood, and meat barbecue featuring porchetta roll with hickory. Photo: SUPPLIED<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Activities will be spread across the lawn, the Cellar Bar Terrace, and Raes Dining Room.<\/p>\n<p>Children&#8217;s activities, led by the Flying Fox team, will include a silent disco, giant Jenga and ring toss.<\/p>\n<p>DJ Sammy KC will keep the vibe alive with a funky daytime set.<\/p>\n<p>A silent auction will feature prizes such as a custom Otis Carey artwork, a private dining experience with Raes executive chef Jason Saxby, a two-night stay at Raes, and a one-off furniture piece from MCM House.<\/p>\n<p>Mr Saxby, awarded two hats in the Sydney Morning Herald 2024 Good Food Guide, will be at the grills serving dishes starting at $8.<\/p>\n<p>Guests can enjoy a shellfish barbecue with split bay lobster, scallops or Ballina king prawns.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_30038\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-30038\" style=\"width: 600px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-30038 \" src=\"https:\/\/static.timesnewsgroup.com.au\/prod\/uploads\/sites\/29\/2024\/10\/thumbnail_ExecutiveC_92005.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"600\" height=\"400\" \/><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-30038\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Raes on Wategos celebrates its 30th anniversary with a community day on Sunday, October 20 featuring food, drinks and family entertainment from 11am to 4pm.
