Photo: SUPPLIED<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;It was such a beautiful, sunny day, which made it extra nice to gather in our garden and celebrate this new book of ours launching into the world.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;It felt especially fitting to host a party for the launch of The Family Home in our own family home. I made muffins and we served mimosas, our kids were there to help, and we felt so grateful to have so much support and to hear such kind feedback about the book.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Originally from the US, the couple have lived in homes in Nevada, Washington State and London. Featured residences include a converted shed in Federal in the Byron Bay hinterland, a mid-century home in London and a restored 1890s house in Los Angeles.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;This book was so easy to write,&#8221; Adamo said at the launch. &#8220;We just sat down and it just flowed, which isn&#8217;t always the case. It was so fun to write with Michael as we just bounced ideas off each other.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>The couple will also host a Q&amp;A and book signing at The Book Room in Byron Bay on Thursday September 18 at 6pm.
