ONE week after the Uniquely Byron Awards, the recognition is still sinking in for Barefruit Marketing as the agency reflects on its first year in Byron Bay.<\/p>\n
Barefruit received the excellence in business and professional services award at last week’s celebration at Tokyo Doll, where Byron businesses gathered for a relaxed evening hosted by Indigenous chef Mindy Woods.<\/p>\n
The night featured sushi, spritzes and seventeen category announcements, highlighting the depth of the local business community.<\/p>\n
The award comes during a year of transition for Barefruit, which relocated to Byron after more than a decade in Lennox Head and Ballina.<\/p>\n
Agency director Claire Harding said the acknowledgment felt meaningful as the team settled into its new base.<\/p>\n
“This is such an exciting time for us,” Harding said.<\/p>\n
“We’re not exactly ‘new kids’ on the block, but we are the new kids in town. Entering the Uniquely Byron Awards for the first time and receiving this recognition is amazing. We’re proud to be part of such a talented community, and to have the opportunity to grow our business and our clients’ in this beautiful part of the country.”<\/p>\n
The agency works with clients across the Northern Rivers and beyond on strategy, branding, creative campaigns, digital marketing, websites, SEO, social media, PR and paid digital advertising.<\/p>\n
Harding said the team aimed to support its clients while contributing to the community.<\/p>\n
“We’re passionate about working with brands and people we like, and being able to share in the excitement of their results. We’re just as passionate about giving back to causes that align with us, whenever we can,” she said.<\/p>\n
Barefruit donates thousands of volunteer hours each year to charities and not for profits and has built a reputation<\/p>\n
