BIRDS of Condor’s much-loved Super Bowl golf day is set to return to Byron Bay Golf Club this month, bringing together golf, music, food and a full day of Super Bowl festivities, all delivered in the brand’s trademark relaxed style.<\/p>\n

Now in its fifth year, the annual event is hosted by Byron Bay founded golf headwear, apparel and accessories label, Birds of Condor, in partnership with Young Henrys, and has become a fixture on the local summer calendar, attracting golfers, non-golfers and Super Bowl fans alike.<\/p>\n

Birds of Condor General Manager, Kristi McDonough, said the event reflects the values the brand was built on: community, inclusivity and enjoying the game without taking it too seriously.<\/p>\n

“We’re a local brand, and from the beginning it’s always been about bringing people together and creating experiences that feel welcoming,” she said.<\/p>\n

“This day is a really good example of who we are. It’s relaxed, it’s social, and it’s just coming as you are and having a great time.”<\/p>\n

The Super Bowl golf day will kick off at 10am on February 9 with a live screening of the game, over lunch and drinks before a nine-hole, four-person Ambrose tournament tees off from around 3pm.<\/p>\n

Included in the ticket price is the full nine-hole Ambrose with a cart, Young Henrys beers, lunch by Bowerbird, DJs throughout the afternoon, prizes throughout the day, and one of Birds of Condor’s best-selling pieces of headwear for every participant.<\/p>\n

McDonough said keeping the day all-inclusive was key to the atmosphere.<\/p>\n

“We want people to arrive and feel looked after straight away,” she said.<\/p>\n

“You don’t need to organise anything, just turn up, enjoy the Super Bowl, enjoy the golf and soak up the vibe. It’s golf, but very much the lifestyle side of golf. We always say, it’s golf for the rest of us.”<\/p>\n

While the Birds of Condor Super Bowl event is firmly the focus of the day, this year’s golf day will also support a local Suffolk Park family, with funds raised going towards supporting Joel and Nikki as they navigate a long road to recovery following Joel’s stroke in the surf last year.<\/p>\n

“We always try to connect our events to something positive,” McDonough said. “This year it felt especially important to support a local family, our friends, and do what we can, alongside putting on a day that brings the community together.”<\/p>\n

Funds will be raised through ticket sales and a ‘hole in one’ purchase option, with all proceeds donated directly to Joel and Nikki. A separate GoFundMe page has also been established, with several community fundraisers already underway.<\/p>\n

McDonough said the ongoing partnership with Young Henrys continued to feel like a natural fit.<\/p>\n

“They’re a brand that genuinely backs local and shares the same approach we do. Keeping things authentic, lighthearted, and make sure people have a great day.”<\/p>\n

With limited spots available, McDonough encouraged anyone keen to take part to secure tickets early.<\/p>\n

“These days always sell out,” she said. “So if you want to be part of it, jump online and get in while you can.”<\/p>\n

With Super Bowl action on the big screen, a relaxed Ambrose on one of the coast’s most loved courses, and the full Birds of Condor experience wrapped around it, the day promises to be equal parts sport, celebration and community, Byron Bay style.<\/p>\n
