“Back in 2013, on a Friday, Graeme McCartney offered us one of his businesses in Kirrod Arcade on Gilbert Street,” Silver & Sea owner Sabrina King said.

“At first I thought I’d rather work for a business and not have the responsibilities!

“My husband and I talked about it all weekend and decided by Monday, we wanted it.

“Thinking I’ll give it four years, it became an obsession, and this year we’re celebrating 10 amazing years!”

She said the business had been so humbled by the local support, as all Silver & Sea wanted to do was supply all its customers and newcomers with beautiful, affordable, exclusive jewellery.

“When it comes to jewellery, we all want the same thing, treasures that can enhance any outfit or give us beautiful, visible results we can look at and admire.”

“I’ve been collaborating with my personal jeweller for more than nine years now; he creates my designs and brings them to life.

“Not only do we make exclusive jewellery, but we also offer repairs, remakes, replace lost stones, rhodium plating and resizing,” Mrs King said.

“Our collection of pearl and diamond jewellery is very individual. I personally choose pearls from my supplier in Melbourne for all my bespoke designs. When there’s so many options to view, it’s the lustre that always wins!”

All pearls are available in 9ct yellow or rose gold as well as Sterling Silver.
