Live at home longer with an award-winning local provider
Founded in 2019, Country to Coast Home Care Services helps seniors live at home for longer and stay comfortable and connected as they get older.
Managing director and founder Lucy Lincoln said the services are fully personalised and delivered in a way that breaks down the effects of a fragmented aged care system.
“We are a service ‘by locals, for locals’ fostering a true sense of community. We are truly local and only service the Surf Coast.
“We employ qualified staff who are committed to making a real difference for people – and who will help make the journey a better one.”
The Aged and Community Care Providers Association (ACCPA) recently recognised Country to Coast Home Care Services in the 2024 Excellence Awards for Consumer Focus and Care, with Curt Schmeissing winning the nationalaward for his work with Geoff and Kaye Kendall over many years.
The service is also a finalist in the Geelong Business Excellence Awards 2024.
“We walk our talk and we emphasise how important it is to serve our older generation with respect, dignity, and reverence,” Ms Lincoln said.
“Many people often feel they are doing – and getting – something of value by supporting a local business, that is also a local employer.
“The positive intergenerational effects of living, working and employing locally all creates and sustains a community over time.
“We aim to build and contribute to a stronger, more sustainable and age-friendly Surf Coast, and we ensure our overall impact as a business is a positive one.”
