The Fitstop formula inspires members to perform at their personal best, with a personalised approach to group training.

New kid on the block Natalie McKelvie has followed her sea changing dreams by becoming Ocean Grove’s latest business owner, having transformed the once-standing Target Country into a home of functional fitness.

The great post-pandemic sea change continues in Ocean Grove’s thriving business community, as the mother-of-three and registered nurse becomes the newest business owner in town.

She brings with her a fast-growing fitness movement which has attracted more than 17,000 members across Australia and New Zealand.

“A sea change to Ocean Grove has been a dream for our family for quite some time, as has being a business owner,” Natalie said.

“I’m so passionate about health and wellbeing, especially the mental health benefits fitness brings.”

Natalie said the athlete-inspired Fitstop formula inspires members to perform at their personal best, with a personalised approach to group training, but all the while thriving off a community mindset.

“The Ocean Grove community has already taken so well to our Fitstop experience, with its fun, inclusive, functional fitness formula, and it helps that we have the family covered too with our kids’ corner.”

Representatives from Fitstop Ocean Grove’s business neighbour Parade Espresso say community-orientated businesses like Fitstop are bringing strength to the local economy.

“Strength in numbers and like-mindedness of business owners means great things for our local economy, and that benefits everyone here on the peninsula.”
