The new Country to Coast Home Care Services headquarters will open in Anglesea in the coming months.

COUNTRY to Coast Home Care Services helps seniors live at home for longer and stay comfortable and connected as they get older.

The home care provider has announced they are opening a new headquarters for the community at 95 Great Ocean Road Anglesea in the coming months.

The new headquarters is partly in response to the Australian Government’s aged care reforms, specifically targeted at the home care sector in the form of the Support at Home Program.

Unlike many small providers who are closing or selling to larger corporate entities, Founder and Managing Director Lucy Lincoln is instead choosing to continue advocating on behalf of local seniors.

“There are increased regulatory demands in aged care, but we believe that quality care should be provided in the community,” Ms Lincoln said.

“Servicing the Surf Coast area only means that the program is fair, equitable and sustainable for staff and participants. The benefits are that care services are focused, personalised and high quality.

“For us, it is about maintaining people’s connection to the community and working in a way that breaks down a fragmented aged care system.

“We are extremely excited to be opening our new headquarters in Anglesea and continue our ‘by locals, for locals’ approach.

“Everyone is welcome, and I would encourage anyone looking to seek clarity or support to drop in and find out if you are eligible for a government home care package. Private care services are also available.”

Ms Lincoln explains there are lots of benefits that come with maintaining independence, and as an established Department of Health approved provider in the area since 2018, Country to Coast can help clients stay connected to what brings them joy.

“People often feel they are getting something of value by supporting a local business that is also a local employer, and we aim to contribute to a stronger, more sustainable, and age-friendly Surf Coast overall,” Ms Lincoln said.

Country to Coast Home Care Services was recently invited and sponsored by Ageing Australia (formerly ACCPA), the national peak body for aged care to attend a state conference and represent regional providers.

They were also a multi-category finalist in the 2024 Geelong Business Excellence Awards and the national winner in the Aged and Community Care Providers Association (ACCPA) 2024 Excellence Awards for Consumer Focus and Care.
