Country to Coast Home Care Services founded in 2018, is an award-winning home care service provider helping people stay comfortable and connected, in their senior years.

Services are only provided to seniors on the Surf Coast and surrounds to ensure local families have access to tailored and exceptional care.

Managing director and founder Lucy Lincoln said care was fully personalised.

“Our team works together with specialists and community partners in a way that breaks down the effects of a fragmented aged care system.

“We only ever employ qualified staff who are committed to making a real difference for people, and who will help make the journey a better one.

“We are a service ‘by locals, for locals’ and the overall flow-on effects this brings to the community is one of our key points of difference. We aim to build and contribute to a stronger, more sustainable and age-friendly community overall.”

Many people would like to continue living at home for as long as possible, and there are many benefits that come with maintaining independence where you are most at ease.

“Continuing to do what brings you joy and keeping connections helps protect that sense of place and security, which can be key factors in overall health,” Ms Lincoln said.

“The team serves the older generation with respect and reverence and people often feel they are doing – and getting – something of value by supporting a local business, that is also a local employer.”

Country to Coast Home Care Services is a finalist in the 2024 Geelong Business Excellence Awards, and Director Curt Schmeissing recently won The Aged and Community Care Providers Association (ACCPA) 2024 Excellence Awards for Consumer Focus and Care.

Country to Coast Home Care Services shares the Elder Rights Advocacy’s mission for a diverse, vibrant, multicultural community, where older people are respected, heard, well-informed, and can exercise their rights and responsibilities with confidence. Elder Rights Advocacy is also a member of the Older Person’s Advocacy Network.
