An entrepreneurial challenge for kids
Project Gen Z and a movement of entrepreneurs and change-makers are heading to Torquay to launch an exciting school holiday camp.
Dare to Dream is a fun two-day entrepreneurial workshop, on July 1 and 2, packed full of inspiration and education for eight to 13-year-olds.
From student to CEO
The workshops kick off with an exciting and inspirational story from one of Australia’s most successful entrepreneurs.
Students will learn how they started their journey, overcame obstacles, and achieved their dreams.
The Apprentice Challenge
Then in teams, students will get their chance to become an entrepreneur and will take part in ‘The Dare to Dream Apprentice Challenge’, a fun and experiential business challenge that will see them launch a mini business in just two days.
Each student has a company role, and will work together to produce a creative marketing campaign, film and edit a 30-second television commercial, and then go head-to-head in a live pitch-off event.
It’s an exciting workshop that will not only boost confidence and self-belief, but will support kids to tap into their potential and build important skills for the future.
“There is no other school holiday program like Dare to Dream,” Dr Mary Grear, mum to Kirsty said. “It will prepare your children with the skills needed to survive and thrive in the future.”
Project Gen Z has delivered the ‘Dare to Dream’ workshop series to more than 30,000 students and is a B-Corporation world-recognised social enterprise.
