Comedy, music, theatre and cabaret feature in The Potato Shed’s 2025 program

An audience of regulars and newcomers enjoyed The Potato Shed’s launch event of its the 2025 season, with organisers saying the event was a “huge success”.

Hosted early in December, the launch event revealed the 2025 program which features a mix of the best Australian theatre, music, comedy, cabaret, and theatre for the young (and young-at-heart).

Get ready for a fun time at the palace when resident theatre company Theatre 3triple2 for Kids herald the start of The Potato Shed’s new season with their take on the evergreen classic, Cinderella, showing from Tuesday, January 14 to Thursday, January 16. As always, audience participation is encouraged – make sure to join in all the fun. Best ball gown wear optional.

Georgia Fields kick-starts the return of the Summer Series at the Potato Shed, on Saturday, February 8.

 

Magnetic art-pop alchemist Georgia Fields kick-starts the return of the Summer Series on Saturday, February 8. Lay back at The Potato Shed as Fields creates layers of sonic art under the starry skies of the Bellarine.

Americana on the Bellarine, presented by Andrea Robertson, returns Saturday, February 22. Spread out a picnic rug in front of the Outdoor Stage to enjoy a night of the best in local alt-country, folk, blues and rock.

The lineup features Andrea and her band, with The Mojo Corner returning in 2025 as support.

Love the great American songbook? Then book for It’s De-Lovely – A Celebration of Cole Porter, on Saturday, March 15.

International cabaret performer and jazz singer Belinda Hanne-Reid will enchant the audience with her interpretation of classic hits such as I Get a Kick Out of You; Night and Day; I’ve Got You Under my Skin.

Get ready to sway and tap away to this elegant and jazzy celebration of Cole Porter.

Morning Showtime for 2025 returns Tuesday, February 25, with The Songs of John Denver and Kenny Rogers. Col Perkins pays tribute to two of the biggest country music stars. Singalongs guaranteed.

On Tuesday, March 25, Victoria Stanborough will transport the audience to the 70s and 80s in the Barbara Streisand and Bette Midler Show. One powerhouse singer, celebrating two divas of the 20th century.

Expect all the big hits, with Mr Entertainment himself Issi Dye on hand to lend his vocal prowess to songs such as Endless Love; You Don’t Bring Me Flowers; Cryin’ Time; Baby It’s Cold Outside and more.
