Dune Rats and Fidlar comes together
Dune Rats and Fidlar are coming together for a string of Australian performances in their coming tour.
The two bands will make their way across the country on a 10-date tour, stopping for a performance at the Torquay Hotel on September 7.
The tour comes as both bands are set to release new albums.
Dune Rats will release their fifth studio album, If It Sucks, Turn In Up, on August 9 which features the singles “Be Like You”, “Solar Eyes”, and “Cheapskate”.
September 20 will see Fidlar drop their new album, Surviving the Dream, which marks their fourth album release and their first in over five years.
The Dune Rats are an Australian band, releasing their first album in 2014, followed by a global tour.
Their second album, The Kids Will Know It’s Bullshit, found success in the charts, debuting at number one in Australia in 2017 and landing four songs in triple J’s Hottest 100.
This pushed them to a bigger audience, as they played headline shows and sets at festivals including Falls and Laneway.
Fidlar, made up of Zac Carper, Brandon Schwartzel and Max Kuehn, the trio are well known for their punk and garage rock sound, releasing their first album in 2013.
The American band have played on some big stages including at 2019’s Splendour in the Grass.
The Dune Rats and Fidlar have toured together over the best part of a decade, including around the UK last year, where the idea for this tour was born.
