Fun under the big top

January 16, 2025 BY

Performers will bring thrills, laughter and sheer amazement to the audience, keeping them on the edge of their seats.

THE yellow and blue big top has returned to the Waurn Ponds Shopping centre as Circus Royale brings thrilling entertainment to the region these school holidays.

Running now until January 26, the circus features jaw-dropping performances, exhilarating acts and an experience leaving the audience in awe.

Circus performers will be available for photo opportunities and meet-and-greets.

The circus is led by ring master Damian Syred, who acquired Circus Royale at 23 years old and has since produced national touring shows.

New additions to this year’s attraction include an animatronic dinosaur exhibit, rare fossil displays and a 3D hologram display.

A new animatronic dinosaur exhibit will provide plenty to do before the main acts begin.

The animatronic dinosaur exhibit is included with each ticket, with guests invited to walk among lifelike dinosaurs, perfect for dinosaur enthusiasts of all ages.

Holographic images make up the new pre-show entertainment which include acrobatics, illusions and inspiring performances

Circusgoers will be amazed with the performances taking place inside the big top.

Young-circus goers will be well entertained away from the main ring with the kids fun zone where a giant slide, Tea Cups ride, jumping castles arts, crafts and more await.

Circus characters will be available for photo opportunities along with meet-and-greet sessions with the performers, making for an unforgettable family day out.

Slushies, snacks and refreshments will be available to purchase.

Tickets start at $25 for children and $35 for adults and are available online or from the box office on site
