Making health a priority in 2025

“Australia’s Health Index produced by Wesfarmers Health, showed that our region is sitting at a health score of 63, which is well below the national score of 92, meaning our community has a higher risk of cardiovascular health conditions,” Priceline Pharmacy Newcomb Central pharmacist Hao said.

The focus on prioritising health is obvious in each store, but the SiSU Health Station is available for all customers to access and learn more about their individual health risks.

“We try to utilise the health station as much as possible as it’s a fast way to establish key focus areas of health for our customers,” Priceline Pharmacy Belmont pharmacist See said.

The station measures risk factors based on someone’s weight, body fat percentage, blood pressure, height and other personal metrics.”

Hao said to gather this information only takes five minutes and is valuable to their customers.

“Customers can choose to use the health station themselves, or with the help of our experienced team. You can even use the SiSU Health app as a way to track your health results over time.

“For those looking to focus on their health in the new year, this is definitely a great place to start and help set some very focused goals.

“With cardiovascular disease, type 2 diabetes and obesity being common, yet preventable, we’re keen to help our customers through identifying their risk and helping them with any long-term health concerns.”
