July 14, 2022 BY

Attendees will have access to more than 200 exhibitors from tertiary institutes and training providers.

AUSTRALIA’s largest career expo is back.

The 2022 Melbourne Career Expo will be held from tomorrow (Friday, July 15) to Sunday, July 17 at the Melbourne Exhibition Centre, South Wharf.

“Attendees not only have access to more than 200 exhibitors from tertiary institutes and training providers, but we also have thousands of entry-level right through to management jobs on offer from some of the largest employers across Australia,” Career Expo event manager Nicole Capper said.

The Melbourne Career Expo has information for school leavers from universities, TAFEs, registered and group training providers, apprenticeships and traineeships, internships, study assistance, student accommodation, gap years, holiday and after-school employment, as well as Victoria’s Department of Education.

“We strongly encourage all parents of VCE and VCAL students to bring them along to assist them in the planning of their future career paths. Information is the key to their future success,” Ms Capper said.

“After a difficult two years for many people, it is great to see so many of Australia’s employers actively seeking staff, whether it be for the corporate or professional sector to apprenticeships and qualified trades.”

On offer at the Career Expo – thousands of entry-level, graduate and management jobs in skilled careers, trades, health and aged care, childcare, NDIS providers, hospitality and retail, defence industries, emergency Services, regional living and employment, government departments and services, agriculture, technology, property services, finance, recruitment, aviation, auto, transport and logistics, manufacturing and security… the list goes on and on.

The Melbourne Career Expo is an interactive experience where attendees are invited to be active participants within free exhibitor seminars, hands-on demonstrations, and free career resume checking and workshops offered by the Career Development Association of Australia.

“With all this and more, whether you are looking for employment, for further study, or expert career advice, the Melbourne Career Expo is for you,” Ms Capper said.
