The Saltair Spa Family Business began over a decade ago, with a young girl’s dream of being Surf Coast’s haven for every guest to feel spoilt with heavenly massages, designer day spa packages, and luxurious facial treatments, in a nurturing environment, fit for everyone.

In her career as a long serving and passionate beauty therapist, Tamara Melis has dedicated over 20 years of her life devoted to pampering others.

But more importantly, Tamara intuitively tailored each journey she provides to match her client’s wants and needs, to give a perfect day spa experience to everyone that walks through the doors – a sentiment that will always be passed down to every Saltair therapist, to ensure that her message is forever imbedded at every Saltair Day Spa.

Once becoming a business owner, Tamara began balancing the workload pressures of family and children with her career, which inspired her even more to design a facility and treatment menu that truly encapsulated and empowered the importance of selfcare and removing the stigma of escaping the stress of day-to-day life.

Her dream was to provide a spa that encourages the message to be kind to yourself and pamper yourself regularly, as well as gifting those experiences to those you love with a Saltair Day Spa designer gift voucher.

In 2018 Saltair Spa entered in TripAdvisor Hall of Frame, among other awards, and Saltair’s dedicated team continues to offer unique and specialized day spa experiences.

Saltair has evolved from one luxurious location to seven, between Lorne, Torquay, Werribee, Caroline Springs, and now announcing Tamara and her team at Saltair Spa’s debut into Melbourne, with the incredible Saltair Day Spa Port Melbourne.
