Aussie musician Ross Wilson is headed to Portarlington for a winter performance next month.

THE Portarlington Grand Hotel is heating things up on the Bellarine this winter as Australian rock musician Ross Wilson gears up to take the stage.

Performing on July 5, Wilson is known for his time fronting Daddy Cool and Mondo Rock and as a solo musician.

As he heads to the stage, the musician will bring some of his classics back to life.

People heading along can expect to hear hits including Eagle Rock, Come Said the Boy, Cool World and more, with rock nostalgia and good vibes to fill the room.

The event is part of the Grand’s winter push to keep the community connected and dancing as the cooler weather sets in.

“We’re all about getting people out and about during the frosty months and supporting local businesses in a quieter time,” general manager Greg Amos said.

“What better way to do that then with a local legend, great food, and a night of unforgettable music?”

As a singer, songwriter and producer, Wilson has 26 ARIA Top 40 hits to his name and has been inducted into the ARIA Hall of Fame twice.

The upcoming performance is one not to be missed, suited to the Eagle Rock diehards or those looking to shake off the winter blues.

Wilson will perform at Parks Hall with doors opening at 7pm and the live music kicking off at 8.30pm.

Guests can enjoy a grazing platter with local drinks, and for those looking to make a night of it, the Portarlington Grand Hotel will have a pre-show dinner.
