Scotchmans Hill’s traditional Barrel Hall sale is on again

May 26, 2022 BY

Wine lovers from across the region can purchase Scotchmans Hill's wines at unbeatable prices during the May 28 and 29 Barrel Hall Wine Sale.

“GOOD wine can be made in the winery, but great wine is made in the vineyard.”

Chief winemaker Robin Brockett says Scotchmans Hill focuses on managing the vineyard to produce the healthiest, clean and intense fruit characters possible.

Wine lovers from across the region can purchase Scotchmans Hill’s wines at unbeatable prices during the Barrel Hall Wine Sale.

The sale, on from 11am to 4pm Saturday, May 28, and 11am to 3pm Sunday, May 29, features a limited number of wine barrels available to purchase and a dozen wines starting from $85.

Established in 1982, Scotchmans Hill is the Bellarine Peninsula’s oldest and largest winery.

A producer of premium cool maritime climate wines, Scotchmans Hill is rated among James Halliday’s Top 100 Australian Wineries.

Scotchmans Hill’s ability to make wines that are unique and instantly recognisable as their own, comes from their respect and admiration for the land they work on where the characteristics of the land and the fruit are enhanced with minimal winemaking intervention.

And what pairs well with great wine? Great food!

Scotchmans Hill Cellar Door & Bistro was recently awarded Best Food in the Bellarine region in the Gourmet Traveller WINE’s 10th Annual Best Cellar Door Awards.

Along with producing some of the finest wines on the Bellarine, Scotchmans Hill has undergone renovations to update its function spaces.

The French Provincial inspired homestead offers a picturesque backdrop to weddings and functions and provides fully catered experiences with premium award-winning wines to make any day, or night, special.

A couple and their guests can enjoy a unique wedding experience among the vineyards while overlooking some of the Bellarine Peninsula’s best views across Port Phillip Bay, Mornington Peninsula, Swan Bay, Queenscliff and the Heads out to Bass Strait.

A dedicated bridal suite and partnership with a neighbouring B&B means you can celebrate and stay close.

From intimate gatherings to larger celebrations, there are various packages to choose from.
