Sound advice, dedicated service at Daniella Paidi & Associates

February 16, 2024 BY

Daniella Paidi started her law firm in 2017.

Daniella Paidi is the principal lawyer and owner of Daniella Paidi & Associates, a local legal firm providing clients with personalised legal services for buying, selling, transferring and developing real estate.

Ms Paidi studied law and science while at university, working in several firms from the city to the coast and country before starting her firm in 2017.

As well as property law and conveyancing services, the firm also assists clients with the preparation of wills, powers of attorney, probate and administration of deceased estates.

“We understand these matters can be complex, time-consuming and overwhelming,” Ms Paidi said.

“That’s why we’re here to simplify the process, provide sound legal advice, clear communication, and an unwavering dedication to protecting client interests.

“The best thing about my job is the beautiful places my work takes me to and the friends that I have made.”

Daniella Paidi & Associates’ commitment to service isn’t limited to legal matters.

“Whether it’s through volunteering our time, contributing to local initiatives, or engaging in overseas charitable missions, we’re committed to creating a better world for all,” Ms Paidi said.

She said there were a few notable changes to land tax, such as the land tax threshold being lowered on December 31 last year.

“Also, as of January 1, 2024, it’s an offence for vendors to enter into contracts that purport to pass on or apportion any land tax or existing Windfall Gains Tax liabilities to purchasers.”

In terms of the markets, Ms Paidi said the property market is experiencing a correction and there are several factors at play.

“Elevated inflation, higher interest rates, cost-of-living pressures and supply chain issues are all significant factors that affect supply and demand.

“Rental availability has tightened, and vacancy rates have reached record lows.”

“More homeowners are staying put and renovating their existing properties because of the high cost of moving.”

Ms Paidi has shifted between different locations over the course of her career, and now splits her time between Barwon Heads, Melbourne and Avenel.

“It’s this love of country that has shaped my approach to legal services, putting people at the heart of everything we do,” she said.

“Avenel is also very dear to me, it will always be my home. I have a lot of local clients and sit on a couple of boards and action groups in the region.”
