FROM Australian Idol to Australia’s most celebrated stages, Casey Donovan has built a career defined by authenticity, powerhouse vocals and a fearless embrace of who she is.
Next year, she will bring This Is Me, her biggest national tour yet, to Geelong Arts Centre.
Rising to fame at just 16, Donovan captured the nation’s heart as the youngest-ever winner of Australian Idol in 2024. Her stirring performance of Listen With Your Heart shot to number one on the ARIA charts, launching a career that has since spanned pop music, theatre, television and writing.
Fans can expect a setlist filled with Idol favourites, showstoppers from hit musicals such as The Sapphires, We Will Rock You, Chicago, 9 to 5 and Sister Act, as well as original songs performed live for the first time.
A proud Gumbaynggirr and Dungutti woman, Donovan has become a powerful voice for literacy, mental health and self-empowerment, inspiring others with her popular mindfulness podcast, The Space, which has more than 3 million downloads, and her memoir Big, Beautiful & Sexy.
With multiple platinum singles, theatre award nominations and standout TV appearances, including I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here!, Streetsmart and How to Stay Married, Donovan’s story is one of resilience and reinvention.
Audiences in Geelong can expect an evening that’s both intimate and uplifting next year, when she performs at Geelong Arts Centre on October 31.
