Bellarine Classics will offer audiences the rare chance to experience established musicians up close in one of the country’s most sought after coastal communities.
With international excellence, intimate presentation and regional pride, the series promises to present concerts of the highest calibre, positioning the Bellarine as a cultural destination of national musical significance.

The new series is founded by internationally acclaimed pianist Mark Kruger and renowned soprano Sally Wilson, based on the Bellarine Peninsula.
Artists already associated with Bellarine Classics include the Grigoryan Brothers, pianist Kristian Chong and music theatre star Alinta Chidzey.
Ms Wilson said they looked forward to this exciting new chapter in music on the Bellarine.

“This is about hearing extraordinary artists in an intimate space, where every nuance can really be felt.
“It’s about scaling the experience in — bringing audiences closer to artists they might usually hear only in major city halls.”
Co-founder Kruger said Australia has some of the finest musicians in the world.
“Our aim is to bring artists of the highest international standing to the Bellarine and present them in a way that honours both the music and the audience without compromise.”

Bellarine Classics will launch with two new concert streams – Morning Melodies at 11am on the first Thursday of each month, and the Super Series – generally Sunday’s at 2pm.
The sessions will be held at the intimate and acoustically rich Barwon Heads Arts Hub.
