RECORDS have been broken at this year’s All Ford Day, with more than 1,600 vehicles taking centre stage at Geelong’s Eastern Gardens.

The 34th annual car showcase was the biggest yet, with favourable weather providing a top backdrop to exhibit one of Australia’s top automotive brands.

Among the vehicles exhibited on the day were the 1977 Bathurst winning Ford coupes number one and two, the original Tru-Blu XD Falcon, the Moffat Mustang Trans-Am, the Caltex Sierra, Snowy River Caravans Gen 3 and a Pirtek supercar.

Special guest speakers, food vans, trade sites and family friendly activities complimented all the car viewing action.

Trophy winners were awarded across more than 30 categories.

Event director Chris Sager said he was rapt with the record-breaking turnout on the day.

“It was enormous and just fantastic; it was an absolute privilege to be part of it.

Vehicles of all types were exhibited on the day.

“Trophy winners went all the way from a 1925 Dalgety for best survivor, to a 2024 Ford Ranger which won longest distance travelled, having travelled 1,833km from central Queensland.

“We also had 29 Model Ts, including a row of 8 of the 1925 Dalgety Model Ts. These are genuinely 100 years old and made in Geelong!

“The mind boggles at what we had there on the day.”
