Andrews to resign as premier

VICTORIAN Premier Daniel Andrews will resign today, and leave Parliament from tomorrow.

Mr Andrews made the shock announcement at a press conference today, confirming he would leave the state’s top job and his post as member for Mulgrave.

Mr Andrews became premier following the 2014 state election and guided Labor to its third election win last year.
