THE Give Where You Live Foundation is thrilled to announce Sarah Wilson (founder of the ‘I Quit Sugar’ movement) as the guest speaker for their 2023 Give Geelong Breakfast.

The Thursday, March 23 event at the GMHBA Stadium’s President’s Room, will assist the Give Where You Live Foundation to support local education and employment programs in the region, helping people in the community who are experiencing crisis.

Known globally for founding the ‘I Quit Sugar’ movement (currently the biggest online health and wellness community in Australia), Sarah Wilson is a multi–New York Times and Amazon bestselling author, broadcaster and international keynote speaker.

Wilson is also greatly respected for her journalistic and broadcast prowess, having interviewed Prime Ministers, Beyonce and the Dalai Lama amongst hundreds of people.

As a special guest of the event, Wilson will share her insights into living a balanced and healthy life, and detail how she built her ‘I Quit Sugar’ enterprise from the ground up.

Give Where You Live Foundation Acting CEO Meg Price, said the Foundation looked forward to the community’s support of the event.

“We’re working hard to create a fairer, more equitable Geelong, where all people and places thrive, and we can only do that with the support of our community,” she said.

“The Give Geelong Breakfast is a chance for the people of Geelong to come together and help raise funds for our community.

“It will support people in our community facing long-term unemployment, help to improve educational outcomes for children, help people facing homelessness and support families struggling to meet their basic needs, including food insecurity.

“Your donation to the Give Geelong Appeal will have an immediate and local impact.”

The event will be hosted by local broadcast identity Paula Kontelj.
