MORE than 20 Christmas trees will adorn St Paul’s Church this festive season, bringing the holiday spirit to life in a big way.
The much-loved Christmas Tree Festival will be making its return at the central Geelong venue on December 5 and December 6.
Visitors are invited to cast their eyes over uniquely themed and lovingly created trees as designed by local groups, charities and not for profits.
Among those taking part in the initiative include The Outpost, Geelong RSL Pipes and Drums, The Embroiderers Guild Victoria Geelong Branch, Feed Me Bellarine, Kids+ and The Heights Newtown.
The festival promises a festive atmosphere filled with live music, stalls, family friendly activities, children’s games and a sausage sizzle.
St Paul’s Church vicar Jennifer Furphy said they looked forward to celebrating community spirit and the joy of the Christmas season.
“We’re so excited to welcome families, friends and visitors to experience the warmth and creativity that makes this event so special.
“This is also a fantastic opportunity for our community groups to show off what they do to help our community.”
A special concert will take place on December 5 from 7pm.
Opening hours for the exhibition will be from 6pm to 9pm on Fridays and 10am to 3pm on Saturdays.
Entry will be by gold coin donation for adults and free for children.
