Community invitation to online G21 forum

August 5, 2021 BY

Join this year's free online G21 annual forum tomorrow with George Megalogenis, Jon Faine, Billie Giles-Corti and an inspiring panel of speakers for discussions on sustainable growth and the region's future.

COMMUNITY members from across the G21 region with an interest in the future of their city, town or neighbourhood are encouraged to join tomorrow’s online G21 annual forum.
G21 is the formal alliance of government, business and community organisations, working together to improve people’s lives across our region.
Due to COVID restrictions, this year’s forum has moved online and is now a free event, hosted by former ABC broadcaster Jon Faine, that is open to anyone from our region to attend.
The inspiring line-up of speakers includes author and journalist George Megalogenis and urban research expert Distinguished Professor Billie Giles-Corti.
G21 Forum guests can also be inspired by ideas and insights into sustainable growth and shaping a community for future generations during a panel discussion with Wadawurrung Traditional Owner Corrina Eccles, sustainable architect Jeremy McLeod, economist Angela Jackson and urban planner Nat Anson.
The forum’s primary supporting sponsors proudly include the Times News Group, Gforce Employment Solutions, TAC and Deakin University, with supporting sponsors Evologic, Geelong Port, Urbis and LBW Business & Wealth Advisors.
To register for tomorrow’s free live video-streamed forum (Friday, August 6 – 9.30 am to 12 noon) go to eventbrite.com.au.
The forum will also be live on 94.7 The Pulse with radio host Mitchell Dye.
