Concerns held for missing Portarlington man

Police are urgently searching for an 82-year-old Portarlington man, with concerns growing for his welfare.

Alan was last seen about 9am on January 5 on Batman Road in Portarlington.Police resources, including air support, are involved in the search, which has continued into the night.

Alan is described as being about 182cm tall, with grey, balding hair. At the time he was last seen, Alan was wearing slip-on leather shoes, dark blue or black trackpants and a brown striped polo shirt, and may have been carrying a grey rucksack.

Police hold concerns for his welfare as he lives with dementia and is deaf.
