Covid cancels show again
Covid19 uncertainty forces Royal Geelong Show cancellation again.
The Royal Geelong Agricultural and Pastoral Society has announced the cancellation of the 2021 Royal Geelong Show for the second consecutive year.
The society, founded in 1855, has told the community that “the ongoing uncertainty of holding large events with free roaming crowds during the COVID-19 pandemic, together with operational constraints and associated risks have contributed to this decision”.
The show’s organisers are looking forward to returning in 2022 “to continue the rich tradition that is the Royal Geelong Show”.
