THE Daredevils Motorsport Tour is gearing up for a night of family friendly entertainment at the Geelong Showgrounds tomorrow (Saturday, March 2).

The adrenaline-filled night will feature a wide range of motorsport categories including monster trucks, freestyle motocross, a flame-blasting jetcar, Psycho Sam the roll-over truck, and more.

“The monster trucks are the highlight, the kids love them, love seeing them go around, love seeing them perform, love seeing them crush the cars,” event organiser Troy Garcia said.

A Swedish-stye motor cross rider will also be at the show where he will do a backflip on his 300kg snow-mobile.

Mr Garcia said his company was the only one touring with this act and seeing the backflip really got the crowd going.

The company takes their shows across the country, entertaining children and families, with Mr Garcia being in the industry for 25 years.

“The kids love it, and they drag their parents along, or their grandparents, but there is something for everyone, the jet car can’t be denied; it’s awesome,” he said.

“It’s a really rewarding job for the effort that goes in behind the scenes and to think that really your job is to make people happy.”

Gates open at 2.30pm with amusement rides to entertain the crowd before the main show begins at 5.30pm.

Food is available at the event, and attendees are encouraged to bring their own chairs and blankets to enjoy the show.
