Disney’s biggest collection of beloved characters is set to glide into Melbourne this winter as Disney On Ice presents Magic in the Stars arrives at Rod Laver Arena from July 2 to 6.

Featuring an impressive cast of 56 Disney favourites, the production combines world-class figure skating, aerial acrobatics, special effects and spectacular costumes to bring some of Disney’s most iconic stories to life.

Melbourne families can expect an unforgettable journey through classic tales and modern favourites, led by Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse, Donald Duck, Daisy Duck and Goofy.

Joining them on the ice are characters from Frozen 2, Encanto, Moana, Toy Story, Cars, Aladdin and The Princess and the Frog, creating one of the most expansive Disney On Ice productions ever staged.

One of the show’s biggest highlights is the live on-ice debut of Raya from Raya and the Last Dragon. The fearless warrior will take centre stage in a specially designed aerial acro-pole performance, adding a new dimension to the production.

Fans can sing along with Elsa and Anna from Frozen 2, journey through the magical Casita with Mirabel and the Madrigal family from Encanto, and set sail across the ocean with Moana. Disney and Pixar favourites Lightning McQueen, Tow Mater, Woody, Buzz Lightyear, Jessie, Rex and Hamm will also make appearances.

The production is built around the theme that every great story begins with a wish. Throughout the performance, audiences will follow characters as they chase dreams, overcome challenges and discover their own inner strength.
