MOTORING enthusiasts are revving their engines for the return of the Lara Lions Car Show this Sunday, October 26.

Being held at Pirra Homestead, the annual event is a celebration of cars, motorcycles and community spirit.

More than just motor vehicles, Lara Lions member Maryanne Mullahy said the day promises to bring something for everyone.

“Alongside the stunning display of vehicles, families can enjoy free kids’ activities, raffles and delicious food and drinks available for purchase.

Cars and motorbikes from a range of makes and models will be on display throughout the day.

“Trophies will be awarded in four categories – People’s Choice, Best in Show, Best Club and Best motorcycle.”

Cars and motorbikes of all makes and models will be on site throughout the day, providing plenty of variety for people to explore.

The car show has a long history in the region, first coming to life in 2014 and since then has grown into an even bigger event each year.

Last year’s event was the biggest in its 10-year history, reaching a milestone number with 350 cars on display and more than 1,000 car enthusiasts making their way through the gates.

This year’s charity event will raise funds for the Victor Chang Cardiac Research Institute, a foundation focused on training heart surgeons and innovation.

Gates to the car show open at 8am for exhibitors, while spectators can arrive from 10am.
