WITH only a month left until the official opening of the redeveloped Geelong Arts Centre, the centre is celebrating this milestone by releasing limited extra tickets to the Grand Opening Festival performances.

Released late yesterday (Wednesday, July 19), there are now more $20 tickets to the previously sold-out August 19 comedy triple-header featuring Dave Thornton, Dilruk Jayasinha and Lizzy Hoo.

There are also extra seats available to see Missy Higgins on August 27.

Geelong Arts Centre says it is committed to bringing the community together through the power of arts and culture, and this Grand Opening Festival is set to be a celebration like no other.

Whether you are a seasoned arts enthusiast or just looking to have an unforgettable night out, these events promise to captivate audiences of all ages.

The four-week Grand Opening Festival launches on August 19, with free and ticketed events that celebrate stories, creativity and diversity.

Geelong Arts Centre is also giving away the most adventurous ticket in town as part of the Geelong Arts Centre Golden Ticket giveaway, valued at more than $4,000.
