THE City of Greater Geelong is encouraging community to have their say on the redesign of Rosewall Park in Corio.

Input is sought from residents and park users to ensure a new design is more accessible, engaging and sustainable for all people.

Key elements such as paths, park furniture, grassed areas, trees and garden beds will all be included in the redesign.

Geelong mayor Stretch Kontelj said parks were important community spaces.

“We’re redesigning the whole park, and we want to hear from the people who use it.

“By submitting your feedback and ideas, we can make sure the new design better serves the community.”

Community members can complete the survey on the Have Your Say page or use the Build Your Park tool to allocate 100 points to features such as play equipment, sports facilities and more.

The City will also be at Rosewall Park tomorrow (Saturday, June 14) between 9am and 11am to hear ideas and chat about potential new features for the park.

All community feedback closes at 5pm on June 22.
