THE epic Christmas Festival of Lights is back in 2020 at Adventure Park, Victoria’s favourite water and theme park.

The trail is a whopping 1.5km long and boasts an astonishing two million lights.

The website encourages patrons to “Follow the glow and immerse yourself in a wonderland of enchanting trails, glistening paths, magical glittering bridges and dazzling floating displays”.

Rest assured, it isn’t the average light show. The installations are elaborate, beautiful, cheeky and festive with 3D options, promising full immersion for visitors.

Prospective visitors, keen to get a taste of the new lights can check out the Adventure Park website.

New installations include, ‘Winter Wonderland’ which takes guests to the North Pole with dazzling white lights complete with penguins, foxes, deer and snowmen. ‘The

Golden Archway’ is a bold new installation that allows people to walk through the 35-metre golden and glowing tunnel. Other installations include the ‘Majestic Eagle’, ‘Wild Safari’, ‘Dino Enclosure’ and the ‘Chill Out Zone’ which is an opportunity for guests sit back and relax under a sky of floating umbrellas while listening to Christmas carols.

A selection of ‘dry rides’, like the Wave Swinger, Ferris Wheel, Grand Carousel, Red Barron and the Crazy Coaster are open each night until 9.45pm for people checking out the lights.

Adventure Park is open every day and ticket prices range from free entry for little ones under 90cms to $23.50 per person if you’re over 120 cm.

There are COVID precautions in place, such as limited capacity, physical distance of 1.5 metres, hygiene and hand sanitation facilities, contactless payment and face masks when 1.5 metres can’t be maintained.
