Free parking for ferry commuters

PORT Phillip Ferries is offering free parking for early morning Geelong commuters taking the 7am service into Melbourne.

The car parks are located on Cunningham Pier, next to where the ferry departs, so it makes taking the ferry to work even easier.

Spaces are limited and capped in the system, so commuters will need to book in advance to secure a spot.

This offer is only available on the same day of travel on a 7am departure (Tuesday-Thursday) from Geelong between October 18 to November 24.

How to take advantage of this offer:

Book your commuter ferry ticket as usual (this offer is valid for multi-pass holder

After you have selected your passenger type, an extra option will appear at the bottom of the list to select a Free Car Park Geelong Commuter (please note there is only 1 car park allocated per booking)

Once this option is selected, a new field will appear to enter your car registration number which must be completed

After your booking is complete your e-ticket will be emailed with your ferry and car park confirmation

Present your same-day ferry and parking pass to the car park attendant to gain entry to Cunningham Pier.

Please note the car park will be opened at 6.30 am and can be reached via Western Beach Road.

The ferry departs at 7am sharp and boarding starts 20 minutes before departure. Passengers are advised to allow plenty of time to present their pass to the attendant, park their car and board the ferry well before 7am.
