Geelong Arts Centre CEO to step down for new role
THE Geelong Arts Centre has announced the upcoming departure of its CEO and Creative Director, Joel McGuinness, who will leave at the end of April.
McGuinness is set to become the Executive Director, Experience at State Library Victoria.
The Geelong Arts Centre Trust praised his leadership for ushering in a new era of artistic innovation and community engagement.
Under McGuinness’s guidance, the Centre has become a beacon of creativity for Geelong and the wider region.
His efforts have fostered collaboration and innovation across the arts and cultural sector.
The Trust has commenced searching for a new CEO to continue the Centre’s growth.
Chair of the Geelong Performing Arts Centre Trust, Lesley Alway, commended McGuinness for his visionary leadership.
