Geelong firm receives top financial planning award
GEELONG-based Burke Britton Financial Partners is this year’s winner in the medium category of AMP’s Financial Planning Practice of the Year Award.
This honour is part of the ASTRUM Awards, which recognise excellence in customer service, innovation, team culture, and operational efficiency within the AMP Advice network.
The awards – which categorise practices into small, medium, and large segments – lauded Burke Britton’s outstanding performance in the medium category.
Led by Peter Burke and Jay Burke, the firm has solidified its reputation in the Geelong community by prioritising client satisfaction and strategic growth.
Peter Burke expressed delight at the win, which came after Burke Britton had gone through the award application process, including a client feedback survey and an interview with a panel of industry experts.
“The nomination of being in the top three finalists alone was a huge achievement, so to come home from the AMP Advice Live Adelaide conference as winners had us all ecstatic,” he said.
The award highlights Burke Britton’s dedication to delivering exceptional service, demonstrated through strategic business expansion, effective referral systems, and a commitment to intergenerational wealth management.
The adoption of new technologies and a supportive organisational structure have further contributed to their success.
Judges acknowledged Burke Britton for its strategic business expansion, including acquisitions and referral programs, and their expertise in intergenerational wealth transfer, and praised the firm for using technology effectively and organising their structure to foster planner support and growth.
Over two decades, the Burkes have built a strong, reliable business known for its comprehensive lifestyle and financial advice across multiple locations in Australia.
“Our team and our clients are the core of our business – without them we wouldn’t have been able to have such successful, longstanding business in Geelong. We thank them all for their dedication and support,” Mr Burke said.
He said the firm was committed to continuous innovation and diversification, and aimed to further enhance client support and community engagement.
