GEELONG will turn into a rainbow of colour next month as the Colour Frenzy rolls into town.

Held on October 13 at Eastern Park, participants will make their way around the course, passing through colour stations where they will be showered in vibrant powder.

Colour Frenzy event manager Kristann Small said the Colour Frenzy is a family focused event they run in different locations around Australia.

“We run our five-kilometre fun run loop for anybody of any age and all abilities, people can run it, people can walk it, people can jog it, they can even crawl if they really want to. ”

The bubble station will also be on scene while a cargo net and tunnels adds an adventurous twist and excitement to the event.

As part of the event, Colour Frenzy also raises funds for local animal rescues.

The family friendly event is open to all ages and abilities.

“Our events are specifically focused on raising money for local animal shelters in the area, we donate a portion of the funds from the event,” Ms Small said.

Fury friends are also welcome to attend the Colour Frenzy and are encouraged to dress up as they join in the fun.

Ms Small said they enjoy running these types of events and bringing people together.

“We really want to bring an affordable event that’s really good for everyone, for the families, for friends, for the young, for the old, it’s something for everybody and we try to make it affordable as possible.”

Each participant will receive their own powder bag and vibrant sunglasses as part of their registration.

The event starts at 8:30 with the fun run to kick off at 9:30am and conclude by 12pm.
