A GEELONG local has underscored his status as the face of indoor golf’s new era by delivering a dominant season to claim national honours.
Tommy Wesley was victorious in the Your Tour Top 50 Invitational event which was held across all X-Golf establishments in Australia and New Zealand over the past six months.
This new take on competitive golf offers a professional-grade pathway for players of all levels through simulated majors, skill challenges and a $25,000 Order of Merit prize pool.
Mr Wesley took home two national honours – the Top 50 Invitational Stroke Title and the coveted Order of Merit for his consistent play.

The Geelong youngster played 28 competitive rounds across six of the marquee events, hitting a blistering 56 at St Andrews Old Course and a longest drive of 331.3 metres – the year’s benchmark.
Right on his heels was fellow Geelong contender Brian Blair whose combination of accuracy and composure earned him a runner-up finish in the Stroke division.
Mr Blair posted a best score of 59 and maintained an average drive of 267.6 metres, finishing fifth overall in the Order of Merit standings.
Your Tour general manager Peter Nolan said the tournament’s success shows how modern golfers are hungry for more ways to connect, compete and grow their game.
“Golf’s future isn’t about where you play, it’s about why you play.
“We’re pleased to provide a new wave of players with a welcoming golf community – a place to chase personal bests, cheer on their mates and be part of something personally rewarding.”
