Geelong Revival Motoring Festival gears up
PREPARATIONS for this year’s Geelong Revival Motoring Festival are revving up, with the annual event to return this November.
Pit and VIP passes are now available for the motorsport event, allowing attendees to get up close to the action.
From November 22 until November 24, more than 1000 vehicles will descend on the Geelong Waterfront for three action-packed days full of fan favourites and family fun.
“We’re excited to see the familiar faces return to the festival this year, along with the many new entrants we’ve seen popping up,” event director Nicholas Heath said.
For the car enthusiasts, more than 300 vintage and modern vehicles will clash for the traditional Quarter Mile Sprints.
Each ride will be pushed to the limit as it heads down Ritchie Boulevard, with returning generational racers getting in on the fun.
Cars and motorcycles will be on display as part of the Classic Motorshow, hosted by Shannons, where event goers can get a close look of the designs and build on the classics and latest models.
After debuting in 2022, father-son duo Matt and Madzy Mingay are returning with the Hot Wheels Stunt Team in a new jaw-dropping show.
Across the Saturday and Sunday, the team will deliver brand new tricks and performances, with a Hot Wheels play space also on offer for the young ones and families in the pit.
There is plenty of action taking place outside the pits with carnival games, food vendors rides and more on offer.
“I’m glad to see the ever-growing revival community is keeping to its name and goal in celebrating this historic motorsport event,” Mr Heath said.
Entry to the Shannon Classic Motorshow, Vintage Fashion Awards and the hillside viewing area of the Quarter Mile Sprint are free.
