GEELONG United Basketball Association has officially kicked off its new campaign with players, coaches, sponsors, and supporters in attendance at the club’s 2023 Sponsors Launch.

Among them was Geelong United chief executive officer Mark Neeld, who said it was a great chance to meet the faces behind the support the association had received in 2022 as well as into 2023.

“All of us here at Geelong United Basketball are very excited about the upcoming NBL1 South season,” Mr Neeld said.

“Both our men’s and women’s teams have been training hard throughout the pre-season and promise to bring an exciting brand of basketball for our fans to enjoy.

“It was nice to acknowledge our sponsors and the contributions these businesses and individuals make to put both teams on the floor.

“It provided the opportunity for coaches, players and administrators to thank these people personally.”
