By Farr Wines’ RP Côte Vineyard’s Pinot Noir 2022 has been nominated in the red wine of the year category, which is one of eight new awards.
It will be up against Yalumba The Caley Cabernet & Shiraz 2019 (Barossa Valley, SA) and Yeringberg 2022 (Yarra Valley).
The category winners and best winery rankings will be announced between May 19 and May 22, and Wine by Farr is a previous winner of the coveted Winery of the Year.
The final rankings are determined through a rigorous, proprietary algorithm that considers wine scores and the recency of reviews over a two-year period.
Wineries achieving a place on the annual list receive a Top Wineries Certificate, a mark of excellence in Australian wine.
Since it started in 2016, The Real Review has independently reviewed and ranked the nation’s best wine producers.
Led by principal wine writer and renowned critic Huon Hooke, The Real Review’s expert tasting panel has assessed almost 15,000 wines to determine the 2025 rankings.
