Helicopter circles Torquay in urgent search for missing man

The 21-year-old man reported missing earlier this week has been found safe and well, Victoria Police has confirmed.

A helicopter was seen circling the Torquay area on Monday evening (August 4), as police searched for Ashton, who had last been seen in Frankston and was believed to be in the area.

A helicopter has been seen circling the Torquay area this evening (Monday, August 4), as police search for a missing 21-year-old man.

Police are appealing for public assistance to help locate missing man Ashton, who may be in the Torquay area.

Ashton was last seen on the Nepean Highway in Frankston at about 2pm, and is believed to be travelling in a white Toyota Yaris with the registration 1CG 5RQ.

His disappearance is considered out of character and, due to a medical condition, police and his family hold serious concerns for his welfare.

Ashton was last seen wearing a green jacket and black pants. He is described as Caucasian, tall with a skinny build, red hair and a fair complexion.
