Marles opens new Geelong factory site promising 100 jobs
DEPUTY prime minister Richard Marles has visited a new industrial factory site in Geelong, highlighting the project’s role in bolstering the local economy by creating 100 jobs.
The site, developed by Bisinella Developments, will house a large industrial space for a local logistics company, covering more than 3,600 square meters once completed.
During his visit alongside local member for Lara, Ella George, Marles celebrated the development’s contribution to Geelong’s growth.
“The growth of local businesses like Bisinella is so important for our region,” Mr Marles said.
“This development will offer them the space and support they need, generating over a hundred local jobs – with more room to grow.
“Geelong’s north has a proud history of manufacturing, and it is fantastic to see projects like this ensuring it remains a part of our region’s future.”
Bisinella Developments CEO, Richard Bisinella, said he was proud in contribute to Geelong’s industrial sector and job market through the development.
“This warehouse reinforces our commitment to and confidence in the local manufacturing and logistics sector, with the warehouse design tailored to suit a local business in the industry,” Mr Bisinella said.
“Construction is well underway, and we look forward to handing over the keys for this new industrial space when construction is completed.

Bisinella Developments, a family-run business with a 60-year history in the region, is one of Geelong’s major industrial and residential developers.
