AUSTRALIA Post has opened new parcel lockers in Armstrong Creek, giving residents and businesses around-the-clock access to their deliveries.

The lockers, located outside HomeCo at 40 Main Street, were officially opened on Wednesday this week by Communications Minister Michelle Rowland, Corangamite federal member Libby Coker and Australia Post chief eucalyptus officer Pip the Koala.

The lockers offer a convenient solution for residents to collect packages at any time and include a return option for pre-paid parcels.

Ms Rowland said Australia Post was seeing a steady rise in parcel deliveries as more and more Australians shop and do business.

“These parcel lockers will make a real difference to locals who can collect their parcels at their own convenience.”

Ms Coker said Christmas had come early for Armstrong Creek.

The lockers offer a convenient solution for residents to collect packages at any time and include a return option for pre-paid parcels.

“I’m so pleased our community now has parcel lockers in time for the busy holiday period.

“We often see massive queues out to the car park throughout the warmer months, and as Armstrong Creek continues to grow, it’s essential that we work with Australia Post to deliver the resources that meet community needs.”

Ms Coker thanked Australia Post and local residents for supporting the parcel lockers, calling them a much-needed addition and a great outcome for the community.

Customers can start by downloading the Australia Post App, creating a MyPost account, and registering their preferred locker location.

The app offers real-time tracking and estimated delivery dates to streamline the process.
