POLICE are appealing for footage following a jet ski crash and altercation in Geelong earlier today (Sunday, November 2).
A man and woman were riding a jet ski that crashed into the sand near the swimming area at Eastern Beach about 2.15pm.
Both sustained minor injuries that did not require treatment.
Police believe a physical altercation then occurred between the male rider and bystanders on the beach.
No one was injured during the altercation.
Police are investigating whether speed was factor in the jet ski crash.
As the weather warms up and more people descend on Victoria’s beaches, jet ski riders are urged to ensure they follow speed restrictions around swimming areas.
