GENRE-BENDING folkstress Ally Row, the moody catharsis of Kit Genesis and the blues-infused fire of Otis Namrell Band will join an already jam-packed bill at this year’s Queenscliff Music Festival (QMF).
Organisers have today (Thursday, July 31) dropped a third artist announcement for the festival, that will see a suite of rising Australian and local talent join headliners The Cat Empire, Thelma Plum and The Waifs on stage.

But it is the addition of a new ferry-turned-floating music stage at this year’s event that may well be its most exciting inclusion yet.
In partnership with Searoad Ferries, the Princess Peninsula Ferry stage will host six intimate performances across November 29 and November 30 as it cruises around the bay.
It will be an experience, organisers say, like no other at the festival.

“Queenscliff Music Festival has always been about musical discovery and unexpected connection,” QMF director Claire Stickland said.
“Whether it’s a breakthrough artist you’ve never heard before or watching a set unfold on a boat in the middle of the bay, these are the moments that stay with people, and they are the unforgettable moments that make Queenscliff a truly extraordinary festival.”
The QMF will run from November 28 to November 30.
