CLOTHING company RB Sellars will shift its head office from Melbourne to the historical Federal Mills Precinct in North Geelong, bringing the country’s leading rural apparel outfitter to regional Australia.
The brand says the move will consolidate its head office, B2B showroom and an additional retail store together under one roof.
It says it will also deliver on its strategic goals for growth, operational alignment, and to underpin RB businesses’ core values and commitment to rural and regional Australia.
RB Sellars will transition 50 roles to its Geelong headquarters, with existing employees continuing under a range of flexible working arrangements to support the move.
RB Sellars chief executive officer Jim Gall said the relocation will create a fully integrated headquarters that will function as the heartbeat of the brand.
“Centralising our operations in Geelong allows us to better reflect our identity as a rural outfitter built for regional communities, while positioning us for future growth,” he said.
“This is a stake in the ground: we’re proud of our heritage and confident in our future.”
Established in 1915, the Federal Mills Precinct is steeped in history, heritage, and innovation.
RB Sellars operates 18 retail stores in rural locations across Australia, alongside an online and business-to-business operation.
The Geelong headquarters is expected to generate additional regional jobs and strengthen the company’s commitment to serving rural communities.
“We are so proud of our track record of serving regional communities, and this move celebrates how RB Sellars continues to anchor and inspire the heart of rural Australia,” Mr Gall said.
