Renovations complete at Little Creatures Geelong
The local brewery has unveiled its newly renovated brewery and hospitality venue, using the redevelopment to seamlessly blend its rich heritage with a new vision for the future. “Little Creatures has been an integral part of Geelong for the past decade, and this significant investment marks the beginning of an exciting new chapter,” Little Creatures Geelong brewing leader Dennis Stewart said.
“We’ve expanded our production to include RTDs [ready to drink], while creating a venue that pays homage to our industrial roots and fosters the welcoming atmosphere of your favourite local pub.”
The upgraded facility features a $3 million enhancement of brewing capabilities.
About $1 million went into the redesign of the hospitality space to offer an inviting, community-focused craft beer destination for locals and visitors alike.
The renovation was led by national hospitality operations manager Carrie Watson in collaboration with David Smulders from Dundee Rock, with venue manager Olivia Hosking and executive chef Stephen Shing.
The venue caters to a variety of guests, from families to beer lovers, with a capacity for more than 400 people. The brewery’s new tap bar remains the centrepiece of the venue, surrounded by a modern canteen, function spaces, and an outdoor area for al fresco dining.
“What makes this space truly unique is its ability to bring people together,” Mr Stewart said.
“Whether you’re enjoying a delicious beer, sharing a family meal in our canteen, or celebrating in one of our function areas, the energy of this historic building, now full of conversation and laughter, is what makes it special.”
