Roxie back on the air full-time
BAY 93.9’s weekday 3pm show is receiving a shake up with media personality, mind coach and successful PR director, Roxie Bennett, joining the line-up full-time.
The Catch Up returned on Monday with Roxie joining host Daryl Reader.
Roxie, who has been a regular voice on the show during the last six years, will now take a more permanent position when she joins listeners each weekday night from Monday to Friday.
The announcement comes as no great surprise considering the popular local personality was on air throughout the 1990s and worked in various roles with Geelong Broadcasters over the years.
Bay 93’s content director, Mark Hyland, is excited to see what Roxie has in store for listeners as she teams up with fellow radio veteran, Daryl Reader.
“It is great to have Roxie on The Catch Up full time – she is a big personality and has a real talent for building rapport with our listeners,” he said.
“Together with Daryl, they’re two locals who know and love their own backyard and we are excited for what they will bring to our listeners in 2021.”
The Catch Up focuses on what is happening across Geelong, Bellarine and the Surf Coast, with a great mix of talent over the past few years including high profile locals such as Renée Enright, Sarah Grace and Samantha Krajina.
Bay 93.9’s The Catch up with Daryl and Roxie airs weekdays at 3pm.
